Letters to Self!!

Letters have always been my favourite way of telling someone how special they are to me. I believe that when you unexpectedly find a letter written by someone in some corner of your drawer, it brings so much joy and a rush of love to your heart. Why can’t we write such beautiful letters to ourselves?
You might be wondering, What is she even talking about? Funny, right? How writing to someone else feels so right and obvious, but writing to yourself sounds so weird.
Do you remember the last time you took out time just to look at yourself? To truly notice yourself in your entirety? I’m sure all of us look at ourselves in the mirror, but do we really see ourselves without the layers we carry? Or do we simply scan ourselves every day?
I’ve always felt that we are all travellers. And I don’t mean travellers who only journey to different places physically. We’re travellers because we’re constantly travelling through our soul, mind, heart, and emotions. Yet we often forget that the longest distance we’ll ever travel is between you and you.
As we travel this journey, it’s important to keep writing to yourself. Sometimes just to check in on how you’re feeling. Sometimes to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Sometimes to console yourself.
As we continue this journey within, can we all take a pause to notice how far we’ve come and how beautiful this journey has been? Just for a moment, can we acknowledge the entirety of who we are by truly looking at ourselves?
Talk to yourself. Write yourself a small note. Maybe someday you’ll find it tucked away in some corner of your drawer, and it’ll fill your heart with hope, love, and the gentle reminder that you’ve been there for yourself all along.

Love and Light!!
